4 weeks · build in public

Ship one practical AI workflow over 4 weeks.

Pick one real problem. Build the smallest workflow that solves it. Share progress weekly. Finish with a published workflow that future builders can fork — and a spot in the newsletter.

schedule

4 weeks. 1 workflow. 1 honest write-up.

You can join any time. The 4-week clock starts the day you confirm by WhatsApp or email.

Week 1

Pick & scope

Choose one problem from your real work. Write the one-line user query in the actual user's wording. List the human-review point and what you'd never automate. Share the scope publicly in 4 lines.

Week 2

Draft & sanitize

Draft the steps. Strip PII from every example. Generate a sample output on real (sanitized) input. Share the draft, including the parts that didn't work.

Week 3

Peer review & revise

Get 1-2 peer reviews (in the WhatsApp challenge group or via email). Update steps based on feedback. Highlight what changed and why.

Week 4

Publish & reflect

Submit your workflow via /submit-workflow/. After human review it goes live on /workflows/<your-slug>/. Write a 6-line reflection: what worked, what failed, what's next.

participation rules

How the challenge works.

Light-touch, but the safety rules are non-negotiable.

  1. Free to join. No paid tier, no upsells inside the challenge.
  2. Pick a workflow that solves a problem you actually face. Tutorials about hypothetical problems don't count.
  3. Sanitize every example. No real names, phone numbers, emails, customer/patient details, PHI, or unreleased product details.
  4. Declare your human-review point and your "never automate" line in week 1.
  5. Share progress at least once per week — even if the progress is "I'm stuck".
  6. Peer review is voluntary but encouraged. Give before you ask.
  7. Finish by submitting a workflow via the submission page. We review and publish — you stay the author.
  8. Workflows that automate medical/legal/safety-critical decisions without human approval will not be published. We'll help you redesign instead.
What we won't ask you to do. Post on every platform. Tag X friends. Build a thread. We care about the workflow, not the launch theatre.
Privacy. The challenge runs in your inbox and on this site. We never share participant lists. Your published workflow uses the name and contact channel you approve.
