Creator content repurposing workflow

You publish one good piece a week, but it dies on the page — and rewriting it for every channel sounds like a different person wrote it.

Problem
You publish one good piece a week, but it dies on the page — and rewriting it for every channel sounds like a different person wrote it.
Outcome
One published piece becomes a newsletter, a thread, a video script outline, and a community discussion seed — all in your voice.
Tools used
  • Your published piece
  • A voice sample (3-5 of your own posts)
  • An LLM with voice guidance
  • Plain text editor
Time required
45 minutes per piece
Difficulty
Easy

Steps

  1. Lock the source piece. Don't repurpose drafts.
  2. Build a voice prompt from 3-5 of your own posts: sentence length, vocabulary you do and don't use, lines you'd never write.
  3. Generate channel drafts one at a time — newsletter, thread, video outline, community seed.
  4. Read each draft out loud. If a sentence isn't yours, rewrite or delete it.
  5. Schedule across the week so the original piece keeps earning attention.

Example output

Source: blog post on practical AI workshops. Output: 1 newsletter intro, 1 X thread (6 tweets), 1 video outline (5 beats), 1 community discussion question.

Human-review point. The creator reads every output aloud and edits before posting. LLM may not auto-publish.
Privacy notes. Don't feed unpublished client work or private feedback into a third-party LLM as 'voice samples'. Use your own public writing.

Fork and remix ideas

  • Add a 'what I'd never publish' line to filter outputs.
  • Adapt for a podcast → newsletter → thread loop.
  • Adapt for translating content into another language while preserving voice.
