build in public

Honest weekly progress. No vanity numbers.

This is the operating-room view of Dabblewith.ai. Six metrics, two qualitative lines, one explicit failure — every week. If a number is zero, we publish a zero. If MRR is $0, we publish $0. The point is the loop, not the leaderboard.

latest baseline

Where we are this week.

Updated 2026-05-26. Numbers are baseline placeholders until the first full week of measurement closes. We won't backfill or round up.

Baseline note. "Baseline" means we are intentionally not publishing a number yet because the measurement window hasn't closed. We'll replace each placeholder with the real number — including zero — at the next weekly update.
weekly template

The shape we follow every week.

Forkable. The same template lives in the founder weekly metrics workflow.

Week of YYYY-MM-DD

  • Metrics: visitors, returning, workflow views, submissions, community-bot setup clicks, newsletter signups, MRR.
  • Experiment shipped: 1-2 lines on the most important thing we tried.
  • Surprise: the thing we didn't expect — positive or negative.
  • Failure of the week: the specific thing that didn't work, and what we'll change next week.
  • Lesson: 1 line a reader can use without context.
  • What I'm asking for help with: 1 concrete ask the reader can do in <5 minutes.
what we never publish

Honest by default.

The guardrails for build-in-public posts on this site and on social.

No fake usage

We will not publish member counts, testimonials, or use cases that aren't real. If a feature has 0 users, we say 0.

No private member data

We won't publish names, phone numbers, or message content without explicit permission, and never identifiable health/financial details.

No padded experiments

If we didn't ship an experiment that week, we say so. We don't dress up "thinking about it" as "iterating".

Privacy contract. Analytics on this site only collect path, CTA id, link host, audience segment, workflow category, and UTM/intent values. No PII, no raw message content, no phone numbers. See privacy.
